Team and Tournament COVID Policies

Please sign a waiver upon entering the tennis club.  Players will need to include their contact information and notify the club if they should become Covid positive.

Please enter the club no sooner than 10 minutes prior to your match and exit using the side door, socializing outside where distancing is easier.

If a player or spectator has had any COVID symptoms, exposure to someone testing positive for the virus, or feels sick, they should not come to NTC.  Children are prohibited from attending.  Adult spectators are discouraged as distancing is required - they need to leave their name and contact info at the front desk.

Masks are required in the club during entry and exit for everyone who is medically capable of wearing one, but not during match play.

USTA NTC matches are $20 and include 2 cans of balls per court:  1 home, 1 visitor.  If doubles players want their own can of balls they may bring an extra USTA approved can or purchase a can at the desk.

You must pay for the match before entering the courts and may pay by credit card (contact-less), house account charge, check or cash (exact amount only).

Court doors have been removed for fewer touch points, so some are placing their racquet bags there so fewer balls go to the court aisle.

Wash or sanitize your hands before and after play and avoid touching your face, there are no touch points if you use the locker room sinks and there is hand sanitizer at various points in the lobby.

Practice 6 foot physical distancing when possible.

Don’t switch sides of the court.

You may bring your own water onto the courts, or you may purchase water in the lobby or from the vending machines.

To accommodate proper contact tracing, captains please drop off your list of players, which court they used, and their contact info or email same to by the time the match is complete.  Notify NTC immediately if any of your players becomes Covid-19 positive.

There are no scorecards, drinking fountains, towels or showers, ice machine, lockers, sauna, playroom service, kitchen use, or demo racquets;  but hopefully some Great Tennis!
