Junior Team Tennis empowers young tennis players to grow their skills via fun match play. Co-ed teams with a minimum of four players are formed at each of the 2-hour Team Match events (listed below). Players learn to warm up correctly and play four 25-minute rounds of No-Ad scoring in Singles, Doubles, and Co-ed Doubles; events end with some exhibition play, if time remains. A coach is on-court at all times to keep matches flowing smoothly, cheer on the competitors, and handle questions that may arise.
 

Five divisions will compete this season:

• 10 & Under Orange Ball
• 10 & Under Green Ball
• 12 & Under
• 14 & Under 
• High School (begins when Girl’s High School season ends)

Eligibility: Players must be under the age for their division by 08/31/2023; able to maintain a rally with players of their level; and have a basic serve. USTA Membership is required, but it’s free. There is a $10 team registration fee. You will receive instructions about USTA membership when you sign up for matches. 

In November, we will have information about entering teams into a JTT Traveling League, which would start in December and compete against other area clubs and/or we may continue with in-house JTT match play. Please note: The travel league may have some players who are experienced in USTA Tournaments at Level 6 and higher. So if you are interested in potentially competing on a travel team, we strongly encourage you to compete in NTC's Fall program to gain match experience with the team format before the travel team Winter season starts!
