NTC POOL RULES
These rules amend the government’s list of rules.
1. Always obey pool monitors to assure pool safety.
2. Persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other
responsible person at least 16 years of age.
3. Shoes may not be worn in the pool area. Strollers must be carried to their destination
spot. These laws are to minimize bringing street debris into the pool area.
4. Immediately upon entering, members must register and register guests, if any. Any
member who willfully permits the use of the pool by an unauthorized person or does
not register a guest will lose their swimming privileges and pool fees will not be
refunded. Our guest fee policy is to benefit all members. It is to allow you to bring out of
town guests and others on special occasions. This is not to regularly bring your
neighbors. A guest may only attend the pool 3 times per season. Members are
responsible for their guest(s) deportment.
5. Apply sunscreen at least ten minutes before entering the pool. Many manufacturers
recommend application thirty minutes prior to swimming.
6. Remove chewing gum and band-aids before entering the water.
7. No running.
8. No inflated float devices are permitted. Water wings are not allowed but Styrofoam
bubbles that are strapped or built into swimsuits will be allowed with parental
supervision.
9. No jumping off the side of the board. Only one person on board at a time. Only one
bounce off the board. No backwards dives. No jumping or diving until the previous
jumper has cleared to the side of the pool.
10. Toddler pool may only be used by adult-attended children under the age of 6.
11. County law: Eating and drinking are permitted on the wooden deck area only. Glass and
alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. Only clear water in closed containers is
allowed on the concrete deck area.
12. Persons under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other
responsible person at least 16 years of age. Children unattended must be able to swim
one lap across the pool. A pool monitor, at any time, may ask a child to swim a lap. If
the child is unable, the child will be asked to leave the pool. Pool monitors may require
a minor to leave if they are not following pool rules. Parents &/ Guardians must remain
accessible if your minor children are unaccompanied at the pool.
13. Adult swim is 10 minutes proceeding the hour for people aged 16 and up.
14. Have a Good Time and Respect the Rights and Feelings of all.
